About Us
Coventry Hospital Radio (CHR), established in 1972, runs on the dedication of its amazing volunteer team. Managed by a committee elected every two years, CHR broadcasts free, 24/7, straight to patient bedside units. Just press the radio button on the control to your left, choose Hospital Radio, and enjoy the show. Check out the programme schedule to find music you love, and visit presenter profiles to see who’s behind the mic. We’re always looking for new volunteers to help with everything from ward visits to hosting your own show, and we’ll give you full training so you can help brighten patients’ days during their stay.
Coventry Hospital Radio isn’t funded by the NHS or UHCW, so we depend entirely on donations to keep going. We’re always looking for contributions to help us continue bringing the station to patients at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire. You can support us by joining our fundraising events or donating through our JustGiving page. We truly appreciate your support.
