DAN SAMBELL AWARDED BRONZE IN BEST MALE PRESENTER CATAGORY 31st March 2016 | ||
![]() | Coventry Hospital Radio's youngest presenter Dan Sambell was awarded with Bronze Award in Best Male Presenter category at this years Hospital Radio award ceremony which was held this year at Watfords Hilton Hotel.
Dan is a very keen volunteer and started volunteering with Coventry Hospital radio 4 years ago at the age of 16. At present he presents a weekly Monday show and has also served on CHR's committee as Proramme Auditor for the past 12 months. |

CHR Presenter Nigel Stevens had the privilege of going behind the scenes at Coventry City Football Clubs legends day on Saturday 13 February.
It is the ninth Legends Day since the Former Players Association was formed in 2007 and as usual there was a host of stars attending giving Nigel the privilege of chatting to Ernie Hunt, Dave Bennett, Greg Downs, Brian Kilcline (pictured with Nigel), Ian Wallace, Dennis Mortimer and legendary Sky Blues goalkeeper Bill Glazier. |

studios today along with UHCW Chief Executive Officer Andy Hardy for a
chat on air and to wish all the patients a very Happy Christmas. They also thanked all the Coventry Hospital Radio volunteers for all that they do to keep the patients company during their time in hospital. |
RIP PETER CLARKE. 2nd October 2013 | ||
![]() | Everyone at Coventry Hospital Radio was saddened by the death on 2 October 2013 of 29 year old trainee presenter Peter Clarke.
Peter had been a keen volunteer with CHR turning up every week and mixing in with the Wednesday team.
